Change project name

Hello,
I would like to know if I can change the name of a jira SOFTWARE project (company-managed) as well as the confluence name.

What are the consequences or items to take into account, given that we have been using this new project for 4 sprint?

Hi @lucila.lopez 

There is no problem with changing the Project name, the only change will be in what you refer to the project as, and how it appears in Jira.

However if you use any filters or automations that explicitly use the project name you will need to update those, e.g.

JQL: Project = "MyProjectName"

New JQL: Project = "MyNewProjectName"
