Change project Key / ID

I have a project that I would like to change the Key to. I have already changed the name of the project but not they key, is this possible?

Hi Jason,

This is not possible to perform. A possible workaround is export the project dava via CSV file and import it under a new project, with the desired key. However, you'll lose all your project history.

In addition to my colleagues work-around:

You can also create a xml backup of your system and run an search an replace on the old issue key, this can then be replaced with the new one.
