Change password timeout for new user?

Is there a way to change the timeout when creating a new user? When checking the box, "Email a link to the user to set their password," the link lasts only 24 hours. I realize this setting is for security, but we have users across the globe. As an example, I am in California. If I set up an an account on a Friday for a user based in Japan (where it is already Saturday), the link will expire by the time the get in to work on their Monday (my Sunday).

Hi Andrew,

Unfortunately there is no way to change this timeout due to OnDemand platform standards.

However the users can use the “Forgot username or password" to create a new password :)
