Change enconding and/or change database, export settings

Hi All,

I am here again for an other question (with 4 questions...sorry). when I installed Jira server 6.4.14 I used the default settings and the situation is this now.



is it possible to change the encoding from Cp1252 to UTF-8?

is it possible to change the Database type from hsql to MySQL?

is there an other way rather than to Uninstall JIRA server and Install again with new encoding and type of db?

if yes, is it possible to "export" and after "import" settings like users, workflows (I checked is it possible), Schemes of Issue, Workflow, Screen, issue type screen, permission and custom fields?

Hi @Marco Campeotto,

you have to migrate your Jira to a new server server with the new database (be sure you install the same Jira-version as the old one). The whole process is described here:
