For cards on my Kanban board, I am showing the parent Epic they belong to. However, every epic label has the same background color, so they are quite hard to distinguish visually. I'd like to change the epic so that when it displays as a field on the kanban card, it can have a different color.
For reference, this is a Team-managed software project.
I have tried finding an "epic color" field on the project, or adding it myself, as is suggested elsewhere. This did not work.
I have also tried clicking the square of color on the kanban board when it is grouped by epic next to the epic name, but this just takes me to a full view of the epic with no option to change its color.
Thanks!
Hi @Gregory,
If I click on the little colored square next to the epic title in the side panel of the kanban board, this is what happens:
Kanban board in a team managed space on a free plan, just as you describe. Are you sure you are really clicking exactly on the coloured square?
When you view the epic (not just in the board view), you should be able to click the square of colour next to the epic name to change it's colour
