I have boards named "ProjA DEV" and "ProjB DEV". The filter for "ProjA DEV" is project = ProjA ORDER BY Rank ASC The filter for "ProjB DEV" is project = ProjB ORDER BY Rank ASC. There is an active sprint for the "ProjA DEV" board named "ProjA Sprint 45".
Several issues that were in ProjA and appeared on "ProjA DEV" board were moved to ProjB and now appear on the "ProjB DEV" board only (as I believe they should). We created a sprint in the "ProjB DEV" board and called it "ProjB Sprint 45". This resulted in the renaming of the "ProjA Sprint 45" to "ProjB Sprint 45".
Both projects had been re-indexed after the issues were moved from ProjA to ProjB.
If I rename either sprint, the other sprint takes on the new name. How do I stop this behavior as I need two separate sprints?
Hi @David Couillard,
The Sprint ID is a global parameter, and you need to clear their Sprint ID through Bulk change function before moving the Issue, so that you won't bring kanban A's Sprint to kanban B
Indeed, the sprints are not separate, they're the same object. So you will see the new name everywhere the sprint is shown.

I'm not sure I follow what you are saying. I have multiple active sprints across different boards, with different names, e.g., ProjX sprint 10, ProjX sprint 11 etc.. What is the meaning of Sprint ID being a global parameter as you point out?
The boards are both for scrum projects, not kanban, but I don't see that as impacting this behavior.
Thank you.
