I've been tasked to create a weekly subscription for users of a particular department.  I have successfully created the filter and set the time/date for the subscription.  I, however, do not care for the default subject line that it sends.  Because this is a weekly report, I would like for it to somewhere include the date of the week for which the report is being sent.  I would also like to change the "from" field to my email address; it currently sends as JIRA.

I have looked everywhere, but cannot find where to fix this.  Is there a workaround for my issue?

WHAT I CURRENTLY SEE IN THE SUBJECT LINE:  [JIRA] Subscription: Navigator Tickets

WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO SEE IN THE SUBJECT LINE:  [JIRA] Navigator Tickets -- Week Ending mmddyyyy

Hello Courtney,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

Unfortunately, it is not possible to edit the subscription e-mail details, since it requires the editing of the Velocity templates which are not possible in JIRA Cloud.

Since we understand it would be a useful feature, we created the following feature request to have it implemented:

Customize mail subject line

Feel free to vote and watch the suggestion to increase its priority and also receive notifications about any updates.

As a workaround, you can use a third-party app like Zapier or IFTTT to receive webhooks from JIRA Cloud and send an email customized to your needs.

Let us know if you have any questions.
