Cascading select type custom field

Hi

My jira version is 4.1.2.

I have a cascading select type custom field (to select sub-components) in a project.

The issue I am facing is that during the issue creation the second drop-down does not load up. The moment I select an option from the parent drop down I get an empty list on the second drop down.

If however I create that issue and then edit the issue, the second drop down populates and displays all the options.

The problem was with my system. It works on others systems. Its therefore a non issue
