Cant expand a column structure

I can drag the column structure around the blue line (blue line shows up by Jira itself), but I can't drag the column around the red line (red line is made by me in paintbrush). Is this some configuration issue? Can I make the column resizable towards left or right? How to do it? Thanks

Agree with what @Jeroen Poismans said. I would toggle the side bar to off that gives more real estate on the screen.

The work item card width remains the same, it does not change even if the screen is 4k size.

Hi,

In the Search with Detail view you can't adjust the column with the work item cards. You can adjust between the left sidebar and the cards. You can also adjust on the right side between the main content of the work item and the details (assignee, reporter ...)

So, no configuration.

Hi Jeroen, Thanks for your answer. You are right, I can drag the left most column and the right most column, but not the item card column. It is slightly annoying though, can I suggest this as a future enhancement for Jira?

You can via Atlassian support, this is a public community. One tip though, if the card shown is not big enough, your summaries might be too long. Keep it short, give details in the description :-).

Atlassian doesn't allow suggestions to be logged directly into JAC. You can provide a suggestion request to them through the Feedback option under the Help button within Jira, or by having your admins open a support case with Atlassian.

Cant expand the width of work item cards in Jira

In the Jira -> Detail view -> There is a adjustable left most column, which shows the links like dashboard, filter etc, width is adjustable. Then comes the work item cards, clicking on which I can see the details of that item. The width of the work item cards is not adjustable. Even if I have a 4k screen, it stays the same. Can you please make that column width adjustable?
