Hello!
the summary panel in my Jira project board does not pick up my issues. They show up on the list page though.
Looks like a bug. Does anyone else face this too?
Hello,
Welcome to the community :)
Are you still facing the issue? There was an incident where the summary page was not showing the total no or some issues were even backlog was not showing issue number
This was fixed, please validate
Thank You,
Prachi
Hi Prachi. Thanks for getting back to me!
It works now. Still not sure why that happened though.
A coworker had noticed this issue on her end and suggested me to wait for a few hours for the update.
And indeed they show up now.
So, does just it take some time for the issues to be picked up by -
1. the search api
(to be specific, I used: get approximate count rest api endpoint and faced the same issue, in the add-on I am developing)
2. the Jira issue summary page
3. The built-in Rovo chat also ran a get all issues JQL and showed 0 issues in response to a prompt
Thanks again!

Have you created the issues, made any updates, etc..
The summary, relies on actions you do and actions on issues, if no changes have been done, these are not shown.
You can see this on the provided view. As mentioned by @Hari Krishna the project summary can't be changed.

Hi @G H Mahimaanvita ,
Use the List view or All work, when you need accurate results based on filters or JQL
The Summary panel cannot be customized with JQL and will only update once there’s broader project activity like status changes, recent updates, etc.
If you need reporting based on JQL, use:
Filters
Dashboards
Reports
