Cannot see “Task” issue type in one board (same project)

Hi everyone,

I have two Jira boards that are based on the same project.

In one board, I can create the standard “Task” issue type.

In the other board, “Task” does not appear in the issue type dropdown - even though both boards belong to the same project.

The project definitely includes “Task” in its Issue Type Scheme.Screenshot 2026-02-15 at 18.15.18.pngScreenshot 2026-02-15 at 18.12.57.png

Hello @Bar Azgad

Please show us the Filter used by each board. You will find that in Board Settings > General.

Please show us the Issue Type Scheme for the project.

Thank you for that additional information @Bar Azgad

You mentioned that you have two boards. You showed us only one filter. What is the filter for the other board?

In the images that you provided showing the type list what action are you trying to complete? Are you trying to create new items? Are you trying to change the type of existing items?

What type of project does this concern? Click the ... button next to the project name and tell us what it says for the last two lines of the pop-up? It will say something like
