Cannot modify tickets after upgrading to Jira 806001

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!

We have upgraded to Jira 806001 and after the upgrade we can no longer modify the tickets status , or make any changes to the workflows. I can create new tickets, add notes to existing tickets, but every time I try to start progress, or close the ticket we just see the progress bar/circle spin and spin. Any one have a similar experience and know how to resolve this?

I have re-indexed the system and run the integrity analyzer with no luck.
