People are creating organizations without intending to do so, and deleting these is really a pain.
Deleting the organization is only possible when all products are removed, but products cannot be removed without adding payment details - which is really the opposite of what I want.
How can we forcefully terminate an organization that we don't need anymore?

Hello @Joep_Beusenberg
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
You can remove products from the Organization by canceling the subscriptions.
If the products were on free trials and those trials expired then you have to enter payment details to pay for the period of time the products were available while not free.
You can contact the Atlassian Billing team for additional help.

That's the thing, they were free, are free, and are never used.
I just want to delete them. I will not enter any payment details to reactivate them, just to delete them. That doesn't make any sense.

Hey Trudy,
I did and never got a reply. I'll try once more.
Thanks.

we are experiencing the same issue. an employee accidently creates a new organization and our IT team must invest hours trying to close the org again. I have already teminated the free trial and waited for it to expire. All users are removed. Still I cannot close the organizstion. I raised support request : PCS-339383

I’m really frustrated with this situation too. I’m trying to delete my organization, but it’s being blocked because I can’t remove the product first. I’ve already terminated the free trial, but why is it necessary to wait until it expires?
It would be much more efficient if, when users click ‘Delete Organization,’ they were simply notified that the trial will end immediately and all data will be deleted, then proceed with the deletion. The waiting process feels unnecessary, and it’s making me consider just deleting my account altogether since I was only testing it in the first place.
