Cannot assign issues in the project to other users, even though I have the correct permissions

I cannot assign issues in project to other users, even though I have the correct permissions and the target user appears in the project’s assignable user list.

The picker only shows me + “Automatic”; searching his email returns “Enter a valid email address” / user not in space. Permissions and workflow look correct — likely a user-picker or project membership issue.

A huge thank you to Atlassian for their wonderful updates. How can you stop hundreds of companies on Monday morning? Just use Atlassian products.

Hi,
More than an hour ago, a fix was mentioned at
https://status.atlassian.com/
that was supposed to resolve the issue within an hour or sooner.
That hasn't happened for us yet.
It's a shame that Attalssina isn't able to provide an up-to-date and reliable status update.

We have the same issue. All people who were linked to the space have been removed.
This sounds like a big JIRA issue created by an Atlassian deployment

I would say this is an incident on Atlassian's side. There is still nothing reported on the status page, but I expect they will post an update shortly.

I'm also seeing some other cloud-related failures affecting users, so I believe these issues may be correlated.
