I recently migrated from Hosting to Cloud, and i am trying to add a new user to Jira.
However it fails without any specific reason. I only get a general message:
"Something went wrong when adding users to your site"
how can it be fixed?

When this issue happens, it usually is related to the default group of the products.
Can you please go to Cog icon > User management > Product access and confirm if the products have a default group?
If Jira Software doesn't have one, please go to Groups, delete the jira-software-users, and create a new one with the same name.
After that, go to Product access again and add this new group to Jira Software and select it as the default one.
