Can you use Automation for JIRA to assign a task to an epic?

Hi,

I have a next gen project where I would like to automatically create a child task when an Epic is created. I can easily created the task but I cannot find a way to assign it to an Epic.

Is this possible or is this another instance of Next Gen projects lacking features?

Hi Michael,

I believe that functionality for linking to Next-gen Epics is currently not functioning in Automation For Jira. You'll have to do that mark manually right now.
