Can you transistion an issue by link or email

ICT MAAS

Hello,

We are using Jira to log issues with faulty equipment.

We would like to use NFC to send the user to Jira to a pre-defined issue, and transitioning the issue an offline state.

At present the link taken from Jira contains a token in the link which causes an issue when attemping to use it by other users.

Is there a way to avoid this scenario?

Could an email be used to create a similar transition?

Regards,

Dan.

Sounds like you're having fun with the XSS form tokens. I havent tried to avoid it, so can't offer a suggestion

Regarding email, JEMH is a mail handler that supports workflow transitions through Directives in the email, eg #workflow="Go Offline" in the subject.
