Wondering if there is a way to add a gadget that shows a static value.

Use Case:

I would like to show on a Dashboard the number of development hours assigned to new work for the current week. I would update this value each week but it would show as a value on the Dashboard for all to see.

I know this is old but was looking for a solution to this, and end up making up something that at least worked for me. I used the Advanced filter and one of the formulas was a value divided by itself to give me back "1" plus a number to get to the static value, see below. Hope it helps someone looking for a similar solution!

Hi Mo, Thanks for the help but unless I am missing something I do not think this is going to do the trick.  I want a gadget that shows a static value that I have entered.

For example: 200

This would be a gadget that just shows the value: 200

@Eric Sara  Yes you right I was thinking in a different way  but what about this gadget

Days remaining in Sprint Gadget

  • Scenario  you have a board, with sprints (A, B...)  assign issue to these sprints in it, (Define the hours  in date /weeks)  so lets say  200 hrs = 8,3 days,  you can  also  use custom if you choose date less that 24 hrs  it will display 0 days on  the Gadget  they can  point mouse on the gadget to see the date.
  • I have attached sample image  this is  the best you can get.

I hope it is enough for you.

Best regards,

Moses
