Can you setup swimlanes for Service Management type projects?

I don't see the options but want to have a visual way similar to swimlanes to see what items in the project are in progress, pending and completed

if you have Jira SW you could create a board with swimlanes. create-a-board

SW = Software. Do you have Jira Software or Jira Work Management?

Yep, I have just created a board in my personal space and got a swimlane going.

Just need to get permission to share it with our company Jira admin.
