Can you configure project types?

Is it possible to configure the Project Types in JIRA? When creating a project, and selecting the Agile scrum project type, I would like it to be craeted with my specified workflows, screens, field configurations etc.

That's not possible unless you create your own project template. Another option is to use some plugins available on the marketplace which provide project templating functionality.
