Can we use the Free license even if our company has already a Standard license for another Team?

Hello,

we do have corrently a Standard lizence for Jira for a team in aour company. Another team wants to use Jira also with their own subdomain(instance). 

Can we use the Free license even if our company has already a Standard license for another Team?
