Does anyone know if it is possible to show the sum of sub-tasks for a story, on the actual story, in the backlog view?
Screenshot attached for reference. :)
Thanks,
Ben
The problem with @EzraARA solution is that this widens the column and reduces the amount of items that can be viewed on screen at once. This slows down the backlog grooming process - we need a solution that doesn't expand the height of items in the backlog view.
When tickets have had time logged and returned to the backlog, the Original Estimate field becomes misleading - a 3 week task with 6 hours left means the 3 weeks is not useful information.
Can we please get functionality to show the remaining estimate - without using the additional fields?
Good day, Benjamin!
If you would like to sow the sum of remaining estimate in the card, you can use "Card Layout" configuration in the board instead:
You can add the sum of original estimate or sum of remaining estimate field through the Card Layout. The field will then appear in the card (under the summary of the card)
Hopefully this could be of some help!

@EzraARA thanks for that answer! That is a good way to show the Σ Remaining Estimate on the card, but the field that would normally show the estimate (Original Time Estimate) is still 0.
I'm guessing it is not possible to show the sum at the moment. Is there a way that I can submit this as a request to the development team? :)

@Benjamin DainsI actually have the same issue, may I know if you have found a solution to that yet? (Apart from @EzraARA's work-around..)

Can you add project level configuration to use Σ Original Estimates instead of Original Estimate ?
