Can we send notification as email/teams whenever an task/issue assigned to Agile Team?

We are working in large solution organization and we spread across many teams. Sometimes defects raised by testers will flow across the teams and defects will be assigned to Agile teams. It would be great if there is an option to get notified whenever an issue is assigned to Agile Team so that it will be immediately forwarded to developer. Everytime manually need to check in the backlog if there is any issue assigned to Agile team.

You could handle this a couple of ways.

1. Create a post function on a transition to a status when the assignment happens.

2. Use an add-on like Automation For Jira or ScriptRunner to send the email when the value of the field changes.
