Can we select an assignee for a restricted board?

Hello,

We keep getting this error:

The JIRA server was contacted but has returned an error response. We are unsure of the result of this operation.

Whenever someone tries to select an assignee while creating a task for a restricted board. We succeed at opening the task at the end but we have to leave the assignee field 'Automatic' each time.

Can we fix it somehow?

Can you check the logs to see if there is any error in the log during that operation? That should give us more hints on what is going wrong.
