Can we link Jira Server to multiple Bitbucket and Stash accounts?

We have Stash from our parent (corporate) company (either Server or Data Center instance).

We are still using Jira and Bitbucket server from our existing company.

As we migrate companies, some Jira projects need to access different code repositories. 

Is it possible to link to multiple repositories from a Jira Server? If so, how? Are there any security or performance impacts?

Yes, you most certainly may have multiple Bitbucket instances connected to a single Jira instance. You will be required to select a primary application link for the Bitbucket instances.
