Hi all,
I am setting 2 jira service desk projects, and I need to refer the ticket in project 1 to a ticket in project 2, is that possible?
Thank you !
There is no project “linking” but you can certainly link issues between projects as long as you have permissions in both projects.
i there a way that makes the linking automatic? once I have a ticket created in first prject, it creates automatically a new ticket in the second project with the first ticket's reference?
Thanks

you would need an addon, e.g. Automation for Jira, Scriptrunner, Power scripts, etc. Once you have that you will want to define the conditions and action to met your needs. It would be rather odd to duplicate every ticket but then again I don't know your use case.

The use case is that I am managing a service desk project for new arrivals requests, when a manager fill the form for a new arrival to the company, it wreates automatically a jira ticket with a unique reference of course. Now, I am installing jira service desk for the Micro team wh take in charge all hardware forniture to this new arrival. In the form filled at a first step, it has been given all hardware needed, what I need is to create a jira service desk ticket to another project "Hardware Management" but I need to link it with the reference of new arrival ticket so I can take it as a reference.
