Hi, Can anyone please guide me on how to import the defects from old jira to new JIRA using config file. Can we have the same ID mapped to the new issue.

Hi @madhuri.ulasandra welcome to the community! If I'm understanding your question correctly, you're asking if you can migrate your information from your Jira Server software to Jira Cloud. Is that right? If that's the case, yes, Atlassian provides a migration tool for that exact task. Here's some more information on the Migration Assistant.
