Can we hold the next upcoming Atlassian release deployment to our JIRA environment?

With the JIRA cloud structure, I am not too sure whether the point I am going to ask will be practical, but just thought to cross check :)

Is there a way where we can hold upcoming JIRA release deployment to our organizational JIRA cloud instance, till we provide a confirmation from our end?

This can be done with Premium but not standard.
