Can we hide some custom fields on edit screen for specific access like "Developers",

Like the users who and all are having permission as "Developers" in JIRA project, can we hide some specific fields for them in edit screen of any jira issue.

I'm pretty sure that it requires an add-on like Field Hide for Jira.
