After we export to excel, the excel opens with an error message 2025-11-10 11 45 31.png

After click on Yes, the excel loads with performance issue.  It gets very laggy.

Is there any option to export without the graphical timelines?

Yes just like Mohanraj said, here are steps to do so:

  1. Go to Filters → Advanced issue search (or use the “Search for issues” option).
  2. Build a JQL query to select the issues you want (e.g., all issues in a project, or all issues in a roadmap).
  3. Add the columns you want (e.g., Summary, Start Date, Due Date, Status, etc.).
  4. Click on the “Export” button (top right) and choose:
  • Export Excel CSV (current fields) or

  • Export Excel CSV (all fields)

This export will not include any graphical timeline or Gantt elements—just the data.

Hello, Good day. Have you tried exporting Jira work items in .CSV file format?. Thanks!
