Can we develop a plugin for Jira Core Cloud and then deploy this plugin in local Jira Core?

Hello guys,

Please we need to develop plugin for our local Jira Core but we don´t want to install a local development environment sino use the cloud development environment.

Consider  that is a plugin, don´t have data.

Is it possible? any risks or suggestions?

Cloud and Server plugins are structurally totally different.  Cloud add-ons cannot be deployed to Server because the Connect framework simply isn't there, and you can't add Server add-ons to Cloud.

You can probably re-use the logic, but you will have to write two separate add-ons.
