To encourage task completion, we would like to display a special visual effect (e.g. "Thank you" message or a smiling icon) on the screen when a task is marked as completed.
We prefer the effect to appear directly within Jira, rather than through email or Teams notifications.
We would like to know if this could be achieved even with the use of add-ons (including paid ones).
Ideally, we would like to configure multiple types of visual effects.
※Addition:
From what I can see in the following tickets and links, it seems that using a Chrome extension is the only option....
I sincerely hope that Atlassian will implement this feature in the future.

Hi @nagata shumpei ,
:) We also use this animation! Jira Cloud Premium does not support this. We use Chrome extension so i guess this applies for Chrome users only.
You can try Confetti for Jira (free :)): Pops confetti on ticket completion. You can customize the code for variations (ex: smiling icon or other icons).
I cannot find other Marketplace add-ons for this (or mostly feature requests like JRACLOUD-76206), as Cloud limits UI injections for security.
I hope everything works out for you!
Best,
Peter
Hello @Peter_DevSamurai ,
Thanks for your comment!
I tried it right away, but even when I changed the status to “Done,” no confetti appeared...
I’ll keep trying this methos and exploring different ways to make it work, so please let me know if you have any other good ideas!
Best regards,
Nagata

Hi @nagata shumpei ,
That extension works best on Kanban/Scrum boards during drag-to-Done or status buttons; if you're using issue view or a custom workflow, it might not detect the change.
You can try this quick troubleshoot: Ensure it's enabled in Chrome extensions > Confetti for Jira > Check settings (if any) and reload Jira or just simply clear cache.
Best,
Peter
