Can the "Issue Detail View" be disabled on individual Kanban boards?

Hey all.

When clicking on a card, the Issue Detail View opens up to the right. Can that be disabled on a board level?

Or moved so it open up below?

I'm on JIRA Cloud, so I can't actually confirm what is available on JIRA Server, but I found the following information through internet searches.

It seems like you should be able to disable that, based on this Closed Atlassian JIRA Server issue:

I also see from this old post from 2018 that it might be a user preference.
