Can the Azure Devops integration be configured to not scan the PR body

We've integrated Jira with Azure Devops to automatically change the ticket status when a PR is made/completed, etc.

However, one of my colleagues discovered that when you link to other tickets in the PR text on Azure Devops, these also get moved to the new status. This is undesirable, these tickets that were referred to, were supposed to stay in the Open status.

I did not see any configuration options in the Azure Devops app but I'm hoping there is a way to configure this.

Hello, Good day. Are you using workflow trigger or Automation rule to change the status?. If you are using automation rule, then we add conditions in the flow. Thanks!
