Can't we give the user id under watcher field while searching for issues

Hi Team,

I am trying to search for issues where I am the watcher. I am trying to give my userid in the JQL but not able to do it. The JQL is prompting for 'Current User' and 'Empty' options only.
Please refer the screenshot for better understanding.
Appreciate your help.

Hi @Bhushan Naga _ CONT-Type1-THUNDERSOFT INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED _ ,

  • You can give the account ID in the "Watcher" in JQL.
  • Then you can be able to filter out the tickets whose account ID was added as a watcher in the ticket.
  • Kindly check and confirm.

Thanks!!

Hi! 👋

You can include the account ID in JQL too, like this:

You can get the ID of a specific user by navigating to their profile and checking the URL. It should look something like your-site.atlassian.net/jira/people/5f51c0c59a0131004155b56e.

Hope this helps! ✨
