I'm doing some exercise based on above link, but seems Estimation not found in the issue detail view. Could you help on this?

Hi Mike,

The document you linked is specifically geared towards Jira Software Server.  However you mentioned the issue view update, which leads me to believe that you might actually be using Jira Cloud instead.   Can you confirm which platform you are trying to use here?   If you're not sure, you can usually tell by the URL of your Jira site.  If the URL is a *.atlassian.net or a *.jira.com then these are Atlassian Cloud sites.   Otherwise you're probably using Jira Server.

I'm afraid that this particular document does not yet have a Jira Cloud equivalent at the moment.

However you might be able to more closely follow this example by disabling the Jira Labs new issue view feature in Jira Cloud.  You can do this in Jira Cloud by clicking on your user avatar in the bottom left corner of the page, and selecting Personal settings.  On that page is a option to disable the Jira Labs new issue view.

In my screenshot it's enabled right now, but flipping this to off will disable this feature.  And in turn I believe disabling this feature for the time being will probably help make your Jira site behave more in line with the current server versions.

I hope this helps.

Andy
