Can't access your account? password reset link is not working

Hi,

when I click on Can't access your account? link, I am not getting password reset email.

Can someone help me?

Are you an admin of that Jira instance? If so:

1. Is an outgoing mail server configured to send those emails?
2. Have you checked your spam and are you sure your account uses the correct email address?
3. If there is no mail server you can se the password recovery method: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/restore-passwords-to-recover-admin-user-rights-972329273.html
   A restart will be needed to execute this

If you're not an admin of that Jira instance I think you should contact your administrator to help you.

Thank you for the response.

Yes, I am jira admin

I am able to reset the password using  Can't access your account? link.

But other users who use jira and not the admin they cannot reset the password using  Can't access your account? link.

I want other user too able to reset the password using  Can't access your account? because to reset the password users have to drop email to jira admin.

Is there any way where we can allow to reset the password to other users who are not jira admin users.

What do other users get when they use that link? 

When users are in Jira's internal directory they sould be able to use that link
And when they're logged in they should go to their profile and change their password therre, not with the link.
