Hi all,

We have linked our Jira Software application with Bitbucket (through a DVCS account, if that is relevant).

We now have the option of enabling Smart Commits which we would like, except for the command '#transition'.

Is it possible to disable this particular command and keep the other 2 (#time and #comment)?

Thank you!

You could eventually try using the genius commits (provided by the app called Better DevOps Automation developed by our team) as a more powerful alternative to smart commits, as it allows removing existing commands, editing commands and even adding new ones.

It integrates with the Better Commit Policy for Jira app and also with Bitbucket managed Git repositores (via the Better Commit Policy for Bitbucket app). See here.

You could turn off the whole lot by disabling the plugin that provides it, but you would lose all of the other functions.

I would check the system plugins list, find the DVCS one, then see if there are function related modules you can disable (from memory, there are not, it's all or nothing, but it's worth checking as my memory is old and faded)
