Can someone please give me detailed instructions on how to use the JEP custom counter? I have added the field but get no results.

I need to get a count of how many times a ticket has gone back to Requirements, or back to Dev, or QA.

What do you mean by "JEP"?  (I can think of three things it might be, although I suspect it's one in particular, but I don't want to assume the wrong thing)
