May 8, 2020

I was watching/following some issues in Jira.

On the evening of the day before there were no comments, how I can say this with confidence,

1.  I'm on the watch list, I get notification email for the comment, I didn't get any email,

2. I had went to these issues and checked them, (I remember I had even refreshed the page couple of times)

On next day I see there are two comments on the issue with date and timestamp of the earlier day morning.

It happened more than once for different Jira issue/user stories.

I'm surprised, how is this possible?
One possible guess is, if somebody started to write a comment and left the session open and posted the comment later then Jira is taking the time when the initial comment draft was started.
Does it work like this?
