Hi,

Am trying to create a agile JIRA board for Test plans and TestCase SubTasks for an active sprint. Created the filter, but the lists are always shown into Backlog. Should come into Active sprint Category. Please help!!

P.S: am not an admin user

Hi @Raji,

if you create a board showing all the issues of the active sprint of another board, your issues are into the backlog of your new board.

A sprint belongs to a board. Your board and the original board have their own sprints. You would have to create another sprint in your new board. But please:  don't do that. With a configuration like that, your issues would be a part of two independent sprints on two boards and a configuration like that can lead to strange behaviour on the original board.

Why don't you just look at the original board? Or create a dashboard for your issues?

Hi @Raji,

If you want to be able to Manage Sprints on a Scrum board you are going to require the Manage Sprints permission. If your Test Plans do not explicitly require a a time box, or sprint, then I would suggest a Kanban Board instead of a Scrum Board.

You can use the same filter you have created, you only need to recreate your board however choose the Kanban board type.

Hope this helps
