I am new to JIRA and my company uses KANBAN types for releases.

I know how to assign a version to a project, but my question is can multiple projects be assigned to one version

Hi Tom

Version is project specific in JIRA. However, you can use JIRA Portfolio to plan releases and dependencies across projects.

Take a look at JIRA Portfolio's Cross Project Releases feature
