We use Jira Cloud and recently (the last week or so) we have lost the ability to assign issues to users in the backlog. When we try and assign in the backlog the field is highlighted with an exclamation point. We have to click into the detail view for the issue and then assign it there.
We haven't made any changes to any of our permissions. I looked through the config and couldn't find anything. Most likely I am missing something.
Anyone else have this issue?
Turns out the solution was to turn off the "new Jira issue view" under each users profile.
