Can i move a Epic status "in progress" when child issue move to "in progresss" ?

Hi @ariharan m , here is a simple rule based on your requirements to try. Please note that there are things to consider with this rule like is it only automation for the in progress transition or do you basically want the parent to always follow what the children are doing? also consider scenarios where there are multiple children and how you want the parent to behave.

You will note in the image below, that I have checked the box that indicates to allow this rule to be triggered by another automation rule. The reason for this is that if you assume that the sub task changes to his progress, then you want it's parent the story to change the in progress, and when that happens, it will trigger this rule again to change the Epic status.
