can I send out the customer satisfaction surveys out of a project to customers that will not have a license for the Jira instance where the project is hosted?
@Verena Ro If you are using Jira Software then you will have to have a public project or the user will need a license. If you are talking about Jira Service Management and the satisfaction survey sent to users after a ticket is closed they do not need a license.
