Can anyone tell me how to Clone a Project?

Scott Thurston

I would like to Clone an existing active project to make a place for new users to train and practice using Jira without messing up anything in the real original project.  Needs to have the same people, workflow, fields etc.

Could be a duplicate of the project with all the issues duplicated as well.

Thanks for the help people!

Hi @Scott Thurston ,

if you need also a copy of the original issues in the new project you can bulk clone and move them to new test project with our Marketplace app Deep Clone for Jira.

Don't hesitate to get in touch with our support if you have questions or feedback.

Hi @Scott Thurston ,

There's an option to create a project that shares configurations with another project.
