Can a user see a bug on the backlog or sprint board, but not be able to view the details?

Hi,

I am trying to limit a client's view of the "bug" issuetype so that she can see the bug on the backlog or in the active sprint, but cannot click the issue number to open up the details of the bug. Is this possible? If not, I think you can prevent this user or a group of users from seeing the bug issuetype completely, but to be honest, I am finding it very hard to put the pieces together to put this into place. Appreciate any help.

No, you can either see an issue or you can't.  It's not possible (or useful to be honest) to restrict people to seeing parts of it depending on whether they're on a board or view.
