We have the following Story Types: Milestone, Epic, Story. The current structure enforces a Story to parent-link to Epics, and Epics to Milestones.
There are situations where there are no Epics for a Story, and the desire is for a Story to parent directly to a Milestone.
Does Jira allow this? If so what needs to be configured in Jira to make it happen?
