Can Last Comment Filter by Group?

So I just installed the CCC Last Comment plugin and I wanted to know, on the issue navigator, i want to be able to filter the last comments field to only show those visible to a certain user group.

The way I have my security setup in JIRA is every project has it's own local group and if you are not in that projects group you can not see the project.

Is this possible?
