Can Jira Software Projects have a custom selected default set workflow?

If a select team in a company needs a custom workflow and we then apply that custom workflow to a project, is there a way to make all projects for that specific team have that custom workflow we made default on all newly created projects by this specific team?

For example, the specific team has activated a workflow in our workflow settings to be applied to future projects. The team then looks to Create a Project, when they create the project will Jira automatically pull our needed workflow that we wish to be the default option for this team? Like is there a checkbox anywhere in the settings to achieve this? 

If so, how do we achieve this?

You could do this if you check the Share configuration when creating a project. Take a look at the Create a project that shares its configuration with another project section here for more information on what is shared when you do this.
